Tamworth Castle Saxon Treasures - Metal Embossing Art workshop
The second of two Saxon themed art story workshops by Maria Credali.
During this enjoyable workshop you will create an embossed metal decoration inspired by the designs found in the Staffordshire Hoard, some of which is held at Tamworth Castle. You will learn how to accurately trace, cut and emboss sheet metal to create your chosen design using engraving, high relief and low relief techniques.
Workshop duration 2.5 hours. All materials will be provided. No experience is necessary as full tuition will be given by Maria who is a very friendly and relaxed teacher.
