Saturday 20 & Sunday 21 December 2025, various time slots from 11am to 3.30pm
Bring your canine companion to see Santa!
Dogs love Christmas too, so give them the wonderful experience of meeting Santa in the Stables at Tamworth Castle.
As well as meeting Santa, every dog will receive their own present to open or save for Christmas Day. Owners will also have the opportunity to take a commemorative photo or two.
Visiting the beautiful Castle Grounds is free, so take time to enjoy a walk with your four-legged friend before or after your Santa Paws session.
Session times
Every 10 minutes from 11-3.30pm
Tickets
£9.50 per dog – must be pre-booked.
Humans do not need to purchase the £9.50 Santa Paws ticket for themselves. Due to space limitations there is a maximum 2 adults per visit. Well behaved children are welcome. (Annual passes are not valid for this event.)
*Please be aware that your time slot will allow you into the queue to see Santa. There may be other dogs booked within each 10-minute slot - the timings allow us to manage the queue.
Santa Paws Attendance Rules / Owner Responsibility
To ensure your visit is enjoyable for you, your canine companion and other customers please look at the guidance below before you come along. Please note, the museum reserves the right to ask dog owners to leave if these guidelines are not followed, or if staff or volunteers feel that dogs are behaving in a dangerous or threatening manner.
Please respect the following rules for the safety and enjoyment of all our visitors:
• Please keep your dog on a short lead, accompanied and under control at all times.
• Owners are solely accountable and responsible for their dog’s behaviour.
• Make sure your dog does not endanger themselves or others.
• Please pick up after your dog. Dog bags are available from staff if needed.
• Please respect that access is restricted to the Stable only for dogs.
• Dogs should be clean, appropriately vaccinated and free of parasites.
• Please do not visit if your dog is unwell.

• Make your way to the Stables and quote your booking reference to Santa's helpers. You can have this printed or electronically
• Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before the start of your event
• Entrance will not be possible if you arrive before your allotted time
• We aim to ensure that you see Santa within your time slot but on busy days, you may need to wait a little longer
• If timing on the day becomes an issue, please speak to one of our helpers and they will be happy to assist
• Dogs should be accompanied by a maximum of 2 adults due to space restrictions in and around the grotto
• Dogs must remain under the care and supervision of an adult for the duration of the event
• Gifts are generic dog friendly chew toys
• Where a session is shown as 'Sold Out' – we're sorry, there are currently no more tickets available for that time.
