Spend an evening with the stars in a new season of celebrity shows coming to Tamworth

Join Only Fools and Horses star John Challis aka- ‘Boycie’ and former MP Ann Widdecombe, for an intimate evening of stories and behind-the-scenes gossip, at Tamworth Assembly Rooms next year.

Only Fools And Boycie – presents an evening with John Challis, one of the nation's greatest comedy actors, best known as Boycie in BBC One's Only Fools and Horses. In this one-off show on May 10, 2020, the national treasure reveals secrets from the set with stories and anecdotes from his dazzling career.

Having worked with some of the biggest names in show business, Mr Challis will be spilling the beans about Only Fools and Horses co-stars like Sir David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst and friends and fellow performers including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Oliver Reed and George Best. He will also recall tales from his time in Dr Who, Coronation Street and other TV classics.

To finish the evening, Mr Challis will meet fans after the show to sign autographs and pose for pictures, while signing copies of his autobiography, Being Boycie, and novel, Reggie: A Stag at Bay.

Strictly Ann – presents an evening with Ann Widdecombe, one of the most outspoken politicians of our time, as she embarks on her first ever national tour. This entertaining and controversial show takes place on June 6, 2020, when Ann lifts the lid on life in Westminster and shares behind-the-scenes gossip from some of the nation’s best-loved programme including Strictly Come Dancing, Have I Got News For You and Celebrity Big Brother.

Both these shows are part of an exciting new season of ‘An Evening with…’ shows coming to the Assembly Rooms in 2020. These special one-off shows will guarantee laughter and reveal secrets about the celebrities exciting careers.
