The market is operated by LSD Promotions who more recently LSD have also provided annual Food Festivals which take place in Tamworth’s Castle Pleasure Grounds such as Dine n Devour, a mouthwatering array of international street food from around the world, including Artisan traders showcasing and selling their unique wares. With a vibrant atmosphere, delightful food and exciting activities, an unforgettable experience is promised for all and best of all – there is no entry fee.

Love Your Local Market is a celebration of market culture across the UK and takes place across a 2 week period in May each year.
Markets are at the heart of most towns and villages and were the cornerstone of every major settlement throughout history.
LYLM sets an annual theme to encourage markets to take part and get involved, which since its inception as part of the Portas Review in 2012, has grown to become a global campaign with over 3000 events taking place in more than 17 countries.
The campaign is led by the National Association of British Market Authorities (NABMA) and is supported by central government, public and private sector market operators and the wider market industry. This annual event is now a permanent feature of the UK market calendar. Every year LSD support the Love Your Local Market (LYLM) campaign.
Young Traders Market
Young Traders Market (YTM) is about encouraging young entrepreneurs to try market trading and hopefully decide it’s the way forward for them.
Market operators are encouraged to organise their own local events to try and attract the next generation of market traders.
